COVID-19 Update!

At Dee-O-Gee we take the health of our staff and customers seriously.  While we don’t have any official, confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus in our community specifically, we are announcing changes to our business effective Thursday 03/19/2020, expecting to last until the end of March. This date is subject to change as the situation develops.

These precautions are being done under the recommendations of the CDC to encourage social distancing and to assist with helping to flatten the curve of the spread of this deadly virus. Ultimately, we want to protect you, our LOYAL customer, and our AMAZING staff.

Precautions

We want to assure you that we are taking every effort in our store to keep our staff and customers safe and healthy:
  • While we already pride ourselves on providing our customers with a clean shopping environment, our staff has increased the frequency of routine cleaning with a focus on disinfecting high traffic surfaces such as door knobs, light switches, countertops, touch pads, etc.
  • We do not require signature at our point of sale which not only reduces paper waste, but lessens contact points for potential transmission of illnesses.
  • We are requiring our staff members to stay home if they are showing signs of illness.
While under normal circumstances we would love to see you and your furry family member in our store, starting Thursday, March 19, 2020, we are ‘limiting’ our in-store shopping experience. This means that while we are still “open” for business, our doors will be locked to limit the number of customers in store at all times.

Services

Our services, Day Camp and Grooming, are still fully operational. We will greet your pups at the door and bring them in for their appointment.

PLEASE NOTE: For Day Camp, we are now requiring that customers call us to schedule an appointment with us - 406-300-1356. If you are an existing customer and have recurring appointments, you’re all set!

Pet Food, Treat, Toys, etc.

For the purchase of food, treats and toys, please consider making your Dee-O-Gee purchases on our website or by calling the store to place an order for curbside pick-up!  Please use the following link to place your order: https://kalispell.dee-o-gee.com/products/shop/

In some cases, we may be able to accommodate delivery within the Kalispell city limits. If arrangements are made, please note that delivery of items will be made on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If you live outside of the Kalispell city limits, please call ahead for further discussion.  If you are interested in curbside pick-up you can call us when you arrive we would be happy to bring your purchase to you.

We are currently well stocked and can accommodate most orders. If you are wishing for much larger orders we are happy to place special orders that are typically available between 2-10 days depending on when the order is placed and distributor availability.

Nutritional Counseling

During this time we will be doing nutrition consults/advice primarily via email at kalispell@dee-o-gee.com or Instagram and Facebook - @deeogeekspl. Please be patient as we will attempt to respond to all nutrition questions within 12-24 hours.

Staying Connected!

As this is a fluid situation, we are staying in touch with local and government authorities and experts and will communicate further changes as they occur.  Please show patience to our staff as we work through these changes. Our first concern is their safety and that of the customers,  but we also want to make sure we are doing our best to serve our wonderful customers and their pets.  We know that most of what makes our store great is the customer service and the experience, we hope to be able to offer that again very soon but feel with the current health crisis we needed to do our part. We will strive to continue to offer you that great customer service and experience you are used to in a virtual manner.  We hope you continue to support our business during this time.
